EXPORTING YOUR MOD

WRITTEN BY NAGILIANT

Hello everyone, and welcome to our tutorial on how to install/export your own custom skin so you can share it on our site and for others to download. The program that we use on RuneForge is an application by Moonshadow–called CSLoL-Manager

As you have already been extracting your files from Obsidian, and downloaded CSLoL-Manager, make sure that your file path is the same with the same names as shown on Obsidian in your folder holding your skin, as that is crucial for your mod to work.

That means that for example when using Aatrox, the path goes as follows:
Aatrox.wad.client/ASSETS/Characters/Aatrox/Skins/Base if you have only edited his base skin files.

Advice: Only keep the files you have edited to avoid long loading times and unnecessary large file size.

1. GETTING FILES READY

Adding your mod to CSLoL-Manager is quite simple, in fact there are two methods.

Open CSLoL-Manager and thereafter click “Create Mod” as on the picture.

After that, you fill in the required mod details as you wish/deem fit. Whereafter when you go into the next step, you take your folder(s) with the entire path needed as mentioned above and drag  it over the window in CSLoL-Manager.

From thereon when all of your files are added, you simply press “close” and your mod is added to CSLoL

(Drag and drop doesn’t work in case you run CSLoL-Manager as administrator)

USING FOLDER [RAW]

2. ADDING TO CSLoL

When exporting your mod, it will be as a .fantome file. As your mod is already added to CSLoL-Manager by following the steps above, you simply click on “export” on the application as per below:

The file name defaults to the name and information you have provided when adding the mod to the CSLoL-Manager. If you later change the name of the mod, ensure that the .fantome file’s name gets changed as well.

And that’s it!
This is how you add your mod to CSLoL-Manager and also export it to share it with the world! We sincerely hope that you will enjoy every skin that we have to offer, and that we get to see you in our community.

3. EXPORTING YOUR MOD
